Happy New Year! We are finally back and learning again as a class. This week we have learned. . . During Literacy, we studied topics of STUDENT interest. What better way to understand the meaning of research than to research and learn about something that you are passionate about. . . Students let us know about topics that they enjoy. . . some included animals, space, Youtube, video games, sports, books, and much more! Students then generated questions about their topic and used books from the library to look up their answers! We are still working on this research project and students are really enjoying the chance to learn what they are interested about. During math, we learned how to round numbers to the closest 10.
